Psychodynamic/In-Depth Psychotherapy

Also known as insight-oriented therapy, this increases self-awareness and understanding of the influence of the past on present behavior. Reflection and examination of unresolved conflicts can lead to positive changes in style and behavior. Techniques can be utilized from a variety of sources and tailored to fit presenting needs and symptoms.

Dr. Weinstein was trained in this process during his entire psychiatric residency at Vanderbilt and has used it regularly since then.
