Reality-Based Therapy

This type of therapy can help greatly in more objective problem solving. An environment is created for a therapeutic relationship to develop, and a goal is for more effective solutions to be developed. All behaviors, both negative and positive, are evaluated and then what works best to treat these behaviors is utilized. The focus then is on what is really within control, and the changes that are needed for more effective planning.

Dr. Weinstein has used this process for many years, and parts of this can be helpful when combined with other treatments.
